  • High Technology
  • Advanced Business and Financial Services

Business Development
MVEDA maintains a database of businesses within the target clusters that have responded to our marketing tactics and shown an interest in doing business here. Our staff actively pursues these businesses that have either done site tours of the Doña Ana area or are local industries considering expansions and utilizing MVEDA services.

MVEDA offers these businesses one stop convenience for:

  • Finding the Right space
  • Finding the Right employees
  • Finding the Right incentives and financing
  • Finding the Right information
  • Meeting the Right people.

Community Development
Although marketing and business development continue to be MVEDA’s main objectives, the organization’s staff and directors also work to improve the community.  Most of these product improvement initiatives have been long standing with the organization but have gained importance based on recent trends within the local economy:

  • Workforce development
  • Legislative objectives
  • Marketable commercial office and industrial buildings
  • Continued retention and expansion of White Sands Missile Range
  • Cross-Border trade.

It’s Working
In the past 5 years, MVEDA has assisted in the expansion or location of 43 projects in Doña Ana County.  These new and expanding companies have created more than 2,800 new jobs with an annual payroll in excess of $92 million!
