Tracey Bryan, President/CEO of The Bridge of Southern New Mexico, will be the featured speaker at the July 11th MVEDA Business in the Borderplex Forum.  She will discuss how the lack of a skilled and ready workforce is consistently identified as the number-one barrier to economic development and diversification of our economy. Thanks to the commitment of a growing set of cross-sector partners, the effort to develop and implement a comprehensive approach to workforce development planning for our region is underway. The plan seeks to harness the collective assets already in place and identify the gaps that need to be filled for us to build a ready, highly-skilled workforce that will drive short and long-term economic development for us all.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at the Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces, 705 S. Telshor. It will begin with a hot entrée buffet.

Advance registration is $25.00 per person, payable by major credit card via the secure PayPal portal on the registration form. Payment at the door with cash, check or credit card is $30.00 per person. Due to space constraints reservations are required. Registration closes Thursday, July 6, 2017.
