Workforce development will the focus of the July 7 MVEDA Business in the Borderplex Forum. Davin Lopez and Rosa De La Torre-Burmeister, Director of DACC Career Services, will assess the outcomes of the highly successful “Job to Career Readiness Boot Camps” developed last year and the plans for its expansion in the coming year. They will also explain how local businesses can get involved in the Job Expo that is planned following each boot camp.
The forum will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at the Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces, 705 S. Telshor. The meeting will begin with a hot entrée buffet.
Advance registration is $25.00 per person, payable by major credit card via the secure portal on the registration form. Payment at the door with cash, check or credit card is $30.00 per person. Reservations are required. Registration closes Thursday, July 2, 2015.
