The New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation announced its participation in National Disability Employment Awareness Month, an annual awareness campaign that takes place each October. The purpose of National Disability Employment Awareness Month is to educate about disability employment issues and celebrate the many and varied contributions of America’s workers with disabilities.
A job fair has been scheduled for October 8, 2014 from 9am to 1pm at Las Cruces Convention Center; 680 E. University Avenue in Las Cruces. Employers may register for a booth by contacting Jose Armendariz at (575) 524-6135, ext. 118 or by email to jose.armendariz@state.nm.us. The booth registration fee is a donation of canned goods or blanket to benefit the Community of Hope.
