On Tuesday, October 4, 2016, the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA) released its Annual Report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016. The report was distributed at the monthly Business in the Borderplex luncheon held at the Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces.
The report details MVEDA’s success in business development. Five-year highlights include:
- 2,765 new economic-based jobs created;
- $226.5M in new capital investment;
- $82M in new payroll: and
- $130.5M in new household spending.
