Spaceport America and Virgin Galactic had the pleasure of hosting the first day of the DC-X Twenty Year Reunion organized by the New Mexico Museum of Space History in Alamogordo. DC-X was a tremendous program that has influenced the design of many other space vehicles. This month, we continued to prepare for the arrival of SpaceX. The Spaceport Operations Center interior is almost complete. The second access road to the spaceport, aka “the southern road”, is moving forward.
