Sitel is planning on hiring 250 for its call center and “Work@Home Solutions” operations in Las Cruces. According to a news release, the positions available are customer service-related sales and technical support positions.

It’s the fourth expansion of the center’s workforce in the past two years. The Las Cruces facility handles customer service calls for the banking industry and technical support calls for the satellite TV industry.

“Due to our outstanding performance in delivering best in class customer service we are growing. We have earned more business and are expanding our Work@Home Solutions as well as positions inside our facility,” John Munoz, site director of Sitel Las Cruces said in the release.

Sitel is hosting a job fair September 6. Applicants are encouraged to apply at 2100 Summit Court at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. or 6 p.m. Job seekers can learn more about the Work@Home Solutions program and access Sitel’s “careers” section online.

Sitel operates 135 call centers worldwide and has 57,000 employees.
