The Bridge of Southern New Mexico and its mission-related Workforce Talent Collaborative have been working to map and build the literal “bridges” that will transform our people into the 21st Century workforce talent needed by today’s businesses, as well as those targeted for economic development.  Tracey Bryan, President/CEO of The Bridge, and Debbi Moore, President/CEO of the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce, will join us at the January Business in the NM Borderplex Forum to outline the next steps of New Mexico’s first-ever comprehensive workforce talent plan, including the pivotal role of the business community in solving its workforce challenges and creating the skilled and ready workforce needed for the future.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at the Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces, 705 S. Telshor. It will begin with a hot entrée buffet.

Advance registration is $25.00 per person, payable by major credit card via the secure portal on the registration form. Payment at the door with cash, check or credit card is $30.00 per person. Due to space limitations, reservations are required. Registration closes Thursday, January 3, 2019.

About the Speakers
For more than 30 years, Tracey Bryan has been a leader in ground-breaking and industry-leading initiatives. Her career spans work with national and local foundations, communications efforts on behalf of national and local businesses, and today, in the nonprofit world. Tracey leads The Bridge of Southern New Mexico. The Bridge brings Dona Ana County’s business, education, economic development, and government communities together to support two things: increases in high school and college completion rates and aligning systems to support the skilled and ready workforce needed for strong workforce talent pipelines to spur economic growth.

Debbi Moore has been the President/CEO, Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce since May, 2016. She is a native of Claremore, Oklahoma and has lived in New Mexico since 1984. Debbi has 30 years chamber & non-profit experience including chambers in Waxahachie, Texas, Hobbs, Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. She serves on numerous nonprofit, business and education boards and taskforces at the local, regional and state levels. She is the recipient of the 2018 Small Business Administration’s New Mexico Legacy Award, which is presented to an individual who has contributed over 10 years of support & promotion of small business in the State.
