Governor Susana Martinez announced that Valley Cold Storage & Transportation will expand operations and create up to 10 new jobs in three years, bringing their total headcount in Doña Ana County to 24. The company also plans to invest more than $16.5 million in expanding their Santa Teresa Industrial Park facility. This expansion is being supported by New Mexico’s closing fund, LEDA.

“Valley Cold Storage is a homegrown success story and an industry leader and I’m thrilled to see their continued growth and success,” said Economic Development Secretary Matt Geisel. “By expanding their Santa Teresa facility and creating more quality jobs, Valley Cold Storage is expanding their impact on the local economy and helping New Mexicans find good jobs.”

The company has a current headcount of 15 employees with an average wage of $31,000.
